Govt Model Residential Girls College Kondagaon (C.G.) has come into the existencein the year 2021 on September, with the aim to cater the needs of rural students.It is affiliated to Shaheed Mahendra Karma Vishwavidyalaya , Bastar, Jagdalpur, C.G.. The college offers UG courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. At present college is functioning at community hall Govt Model Residential Girls College Kondagaon (C.G.). The college building is situated behind the Bade Kanera Road stadium, Kondagaon . Students are heterogeneous from, rural, semiurban and urban background. Admissions are according to government rules and reservation policies on the basis of merit list. Believingin the Rigvedic hymn “विद्यारत्नं महाधनम्” (विद्यारुपी रत्न महान धन है 'The gem of knowledge is a great wealth') college faculty is committed to reshape the future of students through the holistic skill development. From a mere handful of students in the establishment year the college has grownenormously both in terms of student strength as well as their representation invarious university programmes.
